Shipping, delivery and handling charges 
WatersportDirect currently only ships and deliver within the Republic of South Africa. The items offered on this website are only available to South African clients with South African delivery addresses.

For orders or delivery to areas outside the RSA please contact us by email

WatersportDirect uses multiple shipping rules to determine shipping and handling charges. Delivery charges will be calculated and presented during the checkout process.The price for shipping does not include deliveries to outlying areas or farms as determined by our couriers.

Please select the correct delivery option and rate eg. Main centre or outside main centre. WatersportDirect will not be liable for any extra costs due to incorrect selections or delivery addresses. In the unlikely event that shipping charges are higher than estimated, you will be notified by email. You will then have the choice to either pay in the difference or cancel the order. Please check products for shipping notes as you shop, to ensure your correct shipping costs and details.

All shipping costs are calculated according to the total weight and size of your parcels at the time of checkout.

Items are shipped domestically via South African Post, Speed services or our nominated courier company.

Delivery charges:

Free delivery offered for all orders >  R2800 or more! (RSA only) To Main areas only and for one parcel with a maximum size of 50x50x50cm’s and <10kg. Else extra charges may be applicable.

Courier delivery –  2 to 5 days

We use the Courier guy for courier deliveries and their rates apply to all courier deliveries.

Please provide a physical address for delivery during weekdays and business hours. (No. Po box numbers will be accepted)

The following are regarded as main centres by our courier: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Cape Town, George, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Ladysmith, Potchefstroom, Welkom, Witbank .

Important: The rates for the above delivery is one parcel with a maximum size of 50x50x50cm’s and < 10kg.

Collections 

WatersportDirect will only allow for collections of orders from our premises with prior arrangement and only after payment has been cleared and reflects on in our bank account. Collections will also only be possible after an email confirmation by WatersportDirect to the User that the order is complete and ready for collection.

WatersportDirect is not responsible for reshipping orders at our expense if incorrect details are provided. Please take care in providing the complete and correct delivery address for your order.

Please choose the correct shipping during the check out process. Delivery costs are not fixed and may change without notice.

The Provider will only ship the order(s) off once the full amount of the transfer/payment has reflected in our bank account.

All orders are usually shipped within 2-5 working days from confirmation of order, subject to availability of stock and receipt of payment. We will however endeavour to get your order to you asap. The expected delivery time is 2-7 business days to most destinations inside RSA.

Once the order is shipped the user will receive an email confirming shipment including the tracking information, if applicable.

In the event of a product being out of stock, you will be notified by e-mail, the User then has the right to choose whether to continue with the order or to cancel. If the decision is to continue then you will be notified of the new expected delivery dates.

If the Provider uses a third party to transport/deliver the goods, the Provider is hereby authorized to engage a third party on the Users behalf and on the terms and conditions deemed fit by the Provider. The User agrees to indemnify the Provider against any claims that may arise from such agreement with a third party for shipping or delivery.

Delivery Time and insurance.
The expected delivery time is 2-7 business days to most destinations inside RSA for items in stock and where payment has been cleared.

Should there be any delays due to stock shortages or courier problems the Provider will notify the User as soon as possible. Once an order is dispatched from our premises we are not responsible for any delivery delays or loss of goods.

Risk and reward of ownership pass to the User once the goods leave the premises of WatersportDirect.

Insurance up to R1000 is included on courier deliveries only. Additional insurance for courier deliveries is available at 2% of the declared value above R1000.

Collections:

Undeliverable Packages:
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. Every attempt will be made to contact the User to make arrangements for re-shipment. All additional costs will be for the account of the User.

Order processing:
Order processing will only start when we receive the confirmed order and full payment is cleared and reflects in our account.
